Who it's for
We're picky. On purpose.
We do our best work with a certain kind of business at a certain moment. If that's you, we'll move fast. If it isn't, we'll say so rather than take your money.
The fit
You're a fit if you're…
We think about fit by stage, not headcount. Seed to Series B covers both ends of what we do: the founder who's just raised and is buying their first company, and the 120-person business scaling through an integration. If you're funded and buying or integrating, that's the signal. Come and talk to us. And we're not fussy about sector — most of our work's been in tech, but the model travels.
Founder-led, Seed to Series B, VC- or PE-backed
Growing through acquisition, integration or a fast stretch of scaling
Usually around 20 to 120 people, though funded founders about to make a first acquisition count too
Up for investing in systems and moving quickly
Led by people who'll back the method and actually make decisions
Who we're really talking to
Investors. Founders. CEOs. Leadership teams.
The people who carry the risk when the human side of growth goes wrong.
What you get out of it
Confidence. Less risk. Real structure. Foundations that scale.
And people who stay with you through the change instead of drifting off during it.
The conditions
We only take it on if it can actually work.
We've learned this the hard way. The model breaks without the right conditions, so before we start we look for a few things: budget, leadership genuinely bought in, an appetite to actually implement, openness to systems, agreement on the method, clear decision-makers, and a partnership mindset.
If everything runs through one person, the frameworks get resisted, and decisions sit for weeks, we're probably not the right fit. And we'll tell you that up front.
